The United Arab Emirates, after a 2-year hiatus, began to supply rare shipments of oil to Europe, neglecting the import of raw materials from Russia, Bloomberg reports, citing tanker tracking data. According to the agency, the oil tanker Moscow Spirit, hired by the shipping arm of TotalEnergies SA, is heading to Rotterdam (Netherlands) with a cargo of about 1 million barrels of Emirati oil on board. “The same company has UAE oil on a supertanker bound for Egypt. It is possible that the cargo will also end up in Europe. (…) The shipment to Egypt will most likely go through a pipeline that crosses the North African country, which will in the Mediterranean port of Sidi Kerir. According to tanker tracking data, the last cargo from the UAE to Europe was delivered in May 2020, when COVID-19 brought down the oil market. Source: FINMARKET.RU
