January 11. FINMARKET.RU – A driver who has committed three gross violations of traffic rules during the year, such as driving into an oncoming lane or driving a red light, and other types of gross violations (a combination of any three gross violations will be taken into account, the list of which will be fixed in the new Administrative Code) , will be able to revoke their rights for up to a year and a half, writes Kommersant. According to the newspaper, the Ministry of Justice plans to supplement the draft of a new code with this norm and a number of other toughenings. In particular, the sanctions for drunk driving will be strengthened: a drunk driver can be deprived of his license for up to three years if he was carrying a child. The document also clarifies the methodology for punishing drivers without an OSAGO policy and introduces sanctions for users of electric scooters who violate the rules.
