FINMARKET.RU – In Russia, in order to increase the affordability of housing and the interest of citizens in the conscientious payment of income taxes, the federal real estate network “Etazhi” has proposed changing the mechanism for paying tax deductions when buying an apartment. In particular, to issue it to banks as an initial payment when applying for mortgage loans, and calculate the amount of funds based on the tax base formed as a result of the payment of personal income tax (PIT) for the last 3 years before the loan was issued. The initiative, signed by the director of the network, Ildar Khusainov, was sent to Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, Izvestia writes.
