FINMARKET.RU – In the period from May 2020 to April 2021, the share of private brands (Private Labels) in the sales of Russian retailers, according to the research company NielsenIQ, reached 5.3%. This is the highest figure in the last 5 years (there are no earlier data): for example, a year earlier private labels accounted for 4.7%, Vedomosti writes. In monetary terms, the growth of sales in this category amounted to 12.2%, which is 5 times more than the average dynamics of the FMCG market, according to NielsenIQ. The company does not disclose absolute figures.
