Today’s trading on the Russian stock market began in the green zone against the backdrop of improving external stock market conditions and continuing to rise in price of oil, but almost immediately moved to the decline. The Moscow Exchange index for a minute of trading rose by 0.24% – up to 2313.48 points. The RTS index by 10:01 Moscow time added 0.09% and amounted to 1200.67 points. Within a minute, both indicators began to decline. Stock indices of Asia-Pacific countries are mainly growing today. US stock indices fell sharply on Friday after the release of US economic statistics, which confirmed investors’ opinion that the Federal Reserve System (Fed) will continue the rapid tightening of monetary policy. European stock markets closed on Friday in the red on data from the US labor market. Oil is rising in price today following the rise in prices of Saudi Aramco (Brent exceeded $120 per barrel).
