February 19. FINMARKET.RU – The Cabinet of Ministers was asked to double the number of citizens receiving assistance to pay for housing and communal services. Social activists offered to charge the poor with subsidies to pay for communal services in the presence of debts. The idea was formulated in a letter from the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and NP “ZhKKH-Kontrol” to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Izvestia writes, having familiarized themselves with the appeal. The appeal also proposed to use the low family income for the last two months instead of six months, as it is now, as a basis for payment.
