January 14. FINMARKET.RU – Only every fourth Russian collects garbage separately. The rest remain faithful to the garbage chute, throwing all the waste of their lives into one and the same bucket, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta, citing data from the Russian Ecological Operator. Often, the problem is not laziness or unwillingness to separate food leftovers, paper, plastic and other fractions – the country simply does not have enough containers for the separate collection of solid municipal waste.
