The US dollar and the euro on the “Moscow Exchange” at the start of trading on Thursday morning grew moderately. The ruble was slightly declining against the dual-currency basket against the backdrop of negative conjuncture on world capital markets after the US Federal Reserve meeting yesterday, as well as increased geopolitical risks around Russia. The first transactions in the US dollar were in the range of 60.82-61.1 rubles. According to the results of the fourth minute of trading, the rate amounted to 60.8025 rubles. (+11.25 kopecks to the level of the previous close). The euro rose by 31 kopecks. – up to 60.46 rubles. After an hour of trading, the euro went down. By 8:05 Moscow time, the weighted average exchange rate of the US dollar against the Russian ruble with a settlement term “tomorrow” amounted to 61.0641 rubles. In relation to the last deal on Wednesday, the dollar rose by 37.41 kopecks. The weighted average euro exchange rate with a settlement term “tomorrow” decreased by 10.13 kopecks compared to the last deal. – up to 60.0487 rub.
