Half of Russians (50%) note that, compared with the beginning of May, the most significant increase in prices among food products was for sugar, according to a survey by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM), published on the official website of the sociological center. In addition, as the results of the study show, 46% of fellow citizens have observed a noticeable increase in prices for meat and poultry over the past 4 weeks. 43% of respondents noted the increase in prices for milk and dairy products. A noticeable increase in prices for vegetable oil, as well as for fish and seafood is noted by 39% of respondents, for cereals and pasta – by 37% of respondents, for fruits and vegetables – by 35% of survey participants, sociologists say. Also, according to the FOM, every fifth (20%) Russian speaks of a noticeable increase in prices for alcoholic beverages over the past 4 weeks.
