The Moscow Exchange index starts trading the new week with positive dynamics. The ruble is strengthening, prices for OFZ are growing.
On Friday, the US indices developed the previous day’s rebound, and won back in the second half of the week a significant part of the losses that followed during the pullback from the record levels. Oil prices added more than 2% at the end of the week, and despite the neutral morning dynamics of oil and futures for the S&P 500, the Russian market is winning back on Friday’s rebound.
Oil in rubles again rose above 5000. On the Chinese grounds, the correction of prices for iron ore was interrupted, and in general metals are getting more expensive today: aluminum (+ 1.3%), platinum (+ 1%), nickel (+ 0.4%), copper (+ 0.7%).
Among the heavyweight papers, we see continued growth in the papers of Gazprom (+ 1%), which are rising in price for the third day in a row, renewing their highs since January 2020. Sberbank is growing by 0.2%. LUKOIL depreciates by 0.8%.
Petropavlovsk adds 2% after the publication of the quarterly report. The shares of gold mining companies Polymetal (+ 1.6%) and Polyus (+ 1.5%) also rise in price.
M.Video shares (-5.5%) were cleared of dividends.
The USD / RUB pair is decreasing by 0.28%, being at the level of 73.8. The RGBI government bond index is growing by 0.05%.
