April 2. FINMARKET.RU – The Moscow hotel market has felt the restoration of business travel activity. The occupancy rate of Moscow hotels in January reached 46.7%, in February – 54.8%. These figures are cited by Cushman & Wakefield, writes Kommersant. In the pre-crisis 2019, the indicators were estimated at 59.8% and 70.2%, respectively. Marina Usenko, partner of Cushman & Wakefield, predicts that by the end of March, the average hotel occupancy will be 58-59% against 70.9% in 2019. The value for the entire first quarter may reach 54–55%, but consultants will traditionally announce the exact data closer to the end of April.
