May 31. FINMARKET.RU – Based on the new forecast of the Market Council, the industrialists are asking the government to take measures to keep wholesale electricity prices within inflation. Already this year, prices may rise by 7.5%, and in 2026 – immediately by 9%, writes Kommersant, referring to a letter from the Community of Energy Consumers (unites industrial consumers) addressed to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak. The letter contains a request to instruct the Ministry of Energy, the Federal Antimonopoly Service and the Ministry of Economy to consider the proposals. At the same time, the power engineers themselves call the prices for industry in Russia the lowest in the world.
