July 13. FINMARKET.RU – Prices for primary housing in the 1st half of 2021 have grown on average in Russia by 12-17%. A radical slowdown in the rise in price per square meter did not happen, despite the decline in demand, Izvestia writes, which interviewed participants in the real estate market. Among the main reasons – the growth in the cost of construction, which is due, among other things, to an increase in prices for building materials. Earlier, the FAS has already started checking their manufacturers. The Accounts Chamber told Izvestia that they see the risks of further growth in housing prices in 2021. The auditors recommended that the government develop a set of measures to take into account the rise in the cost of building materials. Various ways of stabilizing the situation are now being considered, the office of Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin told the newspaper.
