FINMARKET.RU – Manufacturers and developers of computer technology are asking the Ministry of Industry and Trade to adjust the requirements for recognizing equipment as domestic, allowing the further use of foreign processors. The Consortium “Computing Technology” (ANO VT, an industry union of large Russian electronics manufacturers) suggested that the Ministry of Industry and Trade adjust the criteria for recognizing equipment manufactured by Russian companies as domestic, Kommersant writes, citing sources. The status is necessary for manufacturers to participate in public procurement, the requirements for which are becoming more stringent. The changes are supposed to be fixed in the corresponding government decree.
